This holds true for fruits and wild herbs as well.<\/p>\r\n<p>Although old trees have deep roots that reach far into the ground, they grow very slowly. As a result, old trees are extremely rich in minerals, giving the tea a very thick taste.<\/p>\r\n<p>The thickness in taste is easy to recognize due to its sweetness. For me, Single Tree Tea feels like a fine liquid that brings a sense of delight to the body.<\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-7939\" src=\"https:\/\/hojotea.com\/jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3713.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"630\" height=\"420\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-7943\" src=\"https:\/\/hojotea.com\/jp\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3633.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"630\" height=\"420\" \/><\/p>\r\n<h2>Single Tree Tea: The Ultimate Tea<\/h2>\r\n<p>For our standard Pu-erh tea, fresh leaves are collected based on the garden. Each lot consists of leaves from multiple tea trees within the same garden, ensuring even quality throughout.<\/p>\r\n<p>In contrast, Single Tree Tea is made from one selected tea tree, resulting in outstanding quality with very distinctive characteristics.<\/p>\r\n<p>For Single Tree Tea, we usually select very old trees from sustainable gardens where no fertilizers or pesticides are used.<\/p>\r\n<p>However, not all old trees produce ideal quality. Once fertilizers are used, the trees grow faster, and the quality drops. Therefore, selecting the right tea tree is crucial.<\/p>\r\n<p>In 2019, we spent two months in Yunnan to select the perfect tea trees.
