For them, the tea buyer is the most important guest in a year. Usually they cook chicken only for the big event in a year. Besides chicken, they prepare the wild vegetable and home-made ham or sausage. In this remote area, the resources is very limited. To access to the mini market is a big event since the location of the villages is in far distance, and the road condition is bad. Normally, their everyday meal is rice or corn, with some pickles or ham at times. Because of the minority&#8217;s dialect, we have difficulty in communication. But we can still feel their sincere hospitality looking at the food they specially prepared for us.
