The warm welcoming by pu-erh tea farmer with home-cooked lunch

Looking out the ideal pu-erh tea in the minority’s village of Yunnan, we often have an honor to have lunch or dinner together with the farmer’s family. For them, the tea buyer is the most important guest in a year. They always serve us lunch as the highest welcome.
Very precious menus
They cook the chicken, which is the very important assets for them. Usually they cook chicken only for the big event in a year. Besides chicken, they prepare the wild vegetable and home-made ham or sausage. In this remote area, the resources is very limited. To access to the mini market is a big event since the location of the villages is in far distance, and the road condition is bad. Normally, their everyday meal is rice or corn, with some pickles or ham at times. Because of the minority’s dialect, we have difficulty in communication. But we can still feel their sincere hospitality looking at the food they specially prepared for us. We are deeply touched by their warm-hearted treat.
